A thriving nationwide company specializing in the rental of furniture, catering equipment, refrigeration facilities, tableware, and event accessories is making significant strides in its expansion. Event Hire UK is set to double the size of its Bradford headquarters, marking a strategic move into a new industrial estate.

The company has secured a spacious 17,000 sq ft unit at Cutler Heights Business Park, strategically positioned less than two miles from both the M606 and Bradford city centre. This expansion is indicative of Event Hire UK’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for its services.

The newly acquired premises, managed by Leeds-based property consultancy GV&Co, boast state-of-the-art features. Only three brand-new hybrid industrial units, ranging from 1,980 to 2,723 sq ft, are still available for occupancy. These units come equipped with high-quality first-floor office spaces and allocated parking, all within a fully secure estate monitored by 24-hour security.

Event Hire UK, founded in 2005 in Walsall near Birmingham, made its foray into Bradford in 2009. Initially based at Enterprise Court on Prince Street, the company has now outgrown its previous location. The Bradford team, currently consisting of 18 members, anticipates the creation of four new jobs in the next 12 months.

The company, with additional bases in London and Manchester, boasts an extensive inventory of over 2.5 million items available for nationwide hire. Their clientele spans from major events like Leeds and Reading Festivals to prestigious occasions like golf’s original major, The Open Championship, and intimate corporate gatherings of as few as 10 people.

Jean Moller, regional operations director, who heads Event Hire UK’s Bradford site, explained: “Since opening in Bradford 14 years ago, we’ve experienced significant growth and now supply products for all types of events including festivals, carnivals, elections, weddings, corporate functions, Christmas parties and everything else.

“We had outgrown our previous premises and when work was completed on this brand new, modern unit, close to our previous base, it was ideal for us. It will enable us to significantly increase our stock levels in Yorkshire and offer a faster and more efficient service to our clients, which makes it an exciting move for us.”
