Police in hunt for two males who threatened staff with an hammer during an attempted robbery in Fagley

Police have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with an attempted robbery at a shop in Fagley.

The incident occurred at around 8.30pm on 4 May on Fraisthorpe Mead.

Two males approached the premises and demanded the owners hand over cash. One of the suspects threatened a male and female worker with a hammer, while the second suspect waited outside.

The victims were able to press a panic alarm and deterred the suspects, who fled the scene empty-handed.

“We would like to speak to the two people pictured in connection with this robbery.

“I would ask for anyone who has any information on this incident or recognises the two men pictured to please get in touch with police.”
