Police investigating an attack on an ATM machine in Bradford have released images of males they would like to identify.

The attack happened in the early hours of Friday, 30 June when two males approached the machine at Tesco Express in Bolton Road and damaged it in an attempt to steal cash.

It is believed they were disturbed and ran off on foot towards Groveway.

Enquiries are ongoing, but it is believed this is related to other incidents in the London and Hertfordshire areas, where thousands of pounds have been taken in similar attacks.

Detective Constable Clare Moran, of Bradford District CID, said:

“We are working with other forces on this inquiry and would like to hear from anyone who may recognise these men.

“The attack on the cash machine in Bradford happened between midnight and around 1.30am, so we believe someone will have seen the suspects and would ask for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101, quoting crime reference 13170297459.

Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
