Bradford man charged with Boxing Day murder in Leeds

A man from Bradford has been charged with the murder of a man on Boxing Day in Leeds.

Pawel Stragowski, aged 27, of Coleshill Way, Bradford, was arrested on Saturday and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court tomorrow (1/1/19).

Maksym Polomka, aged 30, who was a Polish national living in Beeston, was pronounced dead in hospital after being seriously injured in a disturbance in Robb Street, Beeston, in the early hours of Wednesday, December 26.

Tomasz Dybicz, aged 29, from Beeston, has already appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court charged with murder.

A 31-year-old man, who was also arrested on Saturday, will face no charge.
