Man left with serious facial injuries after being assaulted outside Bar Rouge in Halifax

Police are appealing for information after a victim was seriously injured in an assault in Halifax.

The incident happened outside Bar Rouge on Silver Street at around 4.30am on Sunday 2 December when a man was assaulted in the street.

The 21-year-old victim suffered serious facial injuries which required hospital treatment.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding in connection with the incident and has been bailed pending continuing enquiries.
