Jordan Ashington on the podium for coming second in the Thundersport 500 Cup Class in his first race of the day, with a much-improved performance on yesterday.
Disappointment from the Jordz Racing team who are seething after HB Motorcycles, who had promised Jordan their number one bike for the season, gave him their number two bike which had been suffering from engine problems. So the team had to work on it last night.
What a difference a day makes in Jordz Racing….. Jordan comes 5th in his first race of the day in the Thundersport 500 Freshmans and Cup. Brett Haley came first in 14.11.34, Rick Jenkinson second, in 14:23:92 and Martin Bazeley in third place in a time of 14:24:37.
Jordan finished in 14:29:10 which would have got him a 27th place in Thundersport 500 Elite, Sportmens & Seniors. So still some improvement needed to get that top ten position in the Elite Class.
